As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in regional and international forums, Jusoor International participated in the Afro-Arab Youth Congress 2025, held at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, Uganda, from 7–10 October 2025, under the theme: “Amplifying Youth Voices for Peace, Unity, and Prosperity.”
Jusoor International’s participation reflects its commitment to one of the largest Afro-Arab youth gatherings in recent years, which brought together more than 1,000 participants, including youth ministers, policymakers, UN agencies, development partners, journalists, civil society leaders, entrepreneurs, and cultural organizations.
Jusoor International places special emphasis on youth issues across the Arab and African regions, recognizing their pivotal role in achieving sustainable development and building a more just and prosperous future. The organization works to empower young people through programs and initiatives that focus on education, entrepreneurship, civic engagement, and intercultural dialogue.
Jusoor International also prioritizes supporting efforts to address the challenges facing youth, including unemployment, limited access to quality education, declining political participation, climate change, and migration. It does so by launching research-based studies and projects that aim to provide practical, data-driven solutions grounded in the active participation of young people themselves.
The organization is equally committed to establishing permanent platforms for dialogue that bring together youth, policymakers, and experts to discuss shared issues and exchange experiences—enhancing the development of responsive and effective youth policies, and ensuring meaningful youth participation in shaping development agendas at both regional and global levels.
In addition, Jusoor International continues to deepen its strategy of building networks of cooperation with government officials, youth councils, and international agencies for future projects, while identifying local partners and academic institutions to implement joint programs in Uganda and East Africa. This reflects its firm commitment to interregional dialogue and strengthening youth cooperation.
Jusoor International also seeks to enhance its presence within the Afro-Arab youth cooperation framework, connecting Arab and African narratives through media, storytelling, and development dialogue.
The Congress was organized by the Afro-Arab Youth Council (AAYC) in partnership with the Government of Uganda, under the supervision of the Office of the President and the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, and under the patronage of H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Alongside Jusoor International, the Congress featured participation from major regional and international institutions concerned with youth affairs, including the African Union Commission – Youth Division, the Arab League Youth Council, the Pan African Youth Union, the Uganda National Youth Council, as well as representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), UNESCO, and other international development partners.
